My Dream Life

dream life

I am 43 now, and I live my dream life. It is modest, yet abundant. Every Sunday, I plan my life in the weekly planner, so that I know what to do with my time. During the day, I indulge in a lot of creativity and fun. Actually, this year was the best in these aspects. I finally found the beautiful balance between my dream life and my actual life. I am very thankful for that.

My morning routine

My days start with a rich coffee with butter, nutmeg and cinnamon stirred clockwise. Having detox lemon water is obligatory. I am at my grand, white bureau, where all the magic is happening. A chocolate colored candle is burning to celebrate the morning. I am wearing my pajamas. They don’t make me feel like a fairy or princess, but their fabric is soft, and their color is earthy. On my window pane, there is a blooming flower, a violet. Through my window, I see the November sky. While I am drinking my refreshing beverages, I open my planner to see what this magical Monday has got in store for me.

My Journaling Practice

On my grand bureau, there is a selection of beautiful notebooks – they are my confessors. I also have many pens for writing. My daily life is neatly recorded, I have collected beautiful notes from all my activities, and I have a notebook dedicated to writing fiction. There is a notebook of important lists – such as Right Now I am Loving, or Right Now I am Needing. I own a notepad, where I record everything I do – for further reference. Thus, I know that yesterday I cooked vegetable soup, and these days I’ve been reading Isabel Allende.

Preparation for the Holidays

You know, Christmas is coming in less than two months. Yesterday I created an Advent Calendar with a beautiful quote for every day of December. I love surprising my family for the holidays. There is an Elf plan I have made for the holiday month, and I intend to stick to it. I feel festive the entire year; only the holiday is different. Most of the holidays I celebrate by doing a relevant meditation. For the holidays, I also cook something special. I like to cook, and when I cook, I put herbs and spices in my meals generously.

Dancing

The private lessons in tango are regular already. After a lesson in tango, I feel like my soul is bathed. Social dancing is such a happy activity, and in my life, it’s a recurring one. Sometimes, much better than making out – I have had my happiest, most sensual moments during a dance. Tango is my favorite, but I also feel confident in the bachata moves. They are more carnal and sensual, but in tango the bond is spiritual and ecstatic.

Family Bonds

What is life without loving family and friends? I have some very old friendships – like 25-year-old – since high school. We still gather, and sometimes we organize road trips. Most often we eat out and walk about the city, and sometimes we go to the mall. It’s always pleasant when I see my friends, we always have something interesting to talk about. We travel and we organize visiting different events like concerts, theatres, and cinema.

My Body and My Home

My body is my temple, and my home is another sacred space. I take good care of both. One of my journals is called Health Journal – each day I record in it what I ate, how much I hydrated myself, what detox drink I had, if I did any meditation or massage. Every effort I invest in boosting my health is recorded. I feel much better since I started this journal. Soon, I intend to start talking to my body and my home, as I believe they are sentient beings that need attention.

It’s crystal clear that my dream life is here. I am blessed with amazing opportunities to enjoy living. I wish the same to you! Start with liking what you already have, because gratitude is not slight magic. A lot of joy and happiness will come into your life.
