All the little Miracles: A List of What’s Going Right

Creatives, including me, tend to focus all their mighty powers on one thing for a long period of time, ignoring everything else. In a while, they lose the momentum, and this is when they give up on their dream to wake up in heaps of unwashed dishes and dirty laundry. If you have this condition, you will never get a long-term project done, because at some point, you lose the passion and just give up. Something new will soon take the place of your latest obsession.

Today, I created a list of things that are going well in my life. Focusing on any of them too hard will make me ignore the others, and that’s not at all desirable. Any effort I make should be natural to me, slow living, one thing at a time. For instance, it was very important to me to include blogging in my routine, naturally, without any pressure, because that’s the only way for me to be consistent.

So, here’s my personal list of things that are currently going right with my life:

  • My blog and its marketing
  • My dancing lessons
  • My creative and journaling efforts
  • My cooking performance
  • My relationship with family
  • My relationship with friends
  • My health
  • My productivity
  • Enrichment of my culture
  • My interest in reading
  • Watching movies and events
  • Having what to do always
  • My relationship with weather and seasons
  • My general mood and inspiration
  • The home chores
  • My gratitude journal
  • The pleasant atmosphere in my home
  • Being helpful to Mom
  • My artistic efforts
  • The luxury of a candle and incense
  • My flowers
  • Writing poems
  • Writing books
  • My relationship with God
  • Enriching my witchy interests
  • Meeting interesting people online
  • Feeling good
  • Planning and accomplishing

Each of you has got a list of your own. My suggestion for you is to word it and put it down, to see which things in your life need your attention, if you want to keep moving well and growing. In order to keep a thing going, you have to feed it with your time and engagement. You have a garden of beautiful, personal achievements, and you have to water it regularly, so that it blooms. Each of the things that go well needs our investment to keep it that way. Here’s a list to remind you to never give up on the things you love.
