Sign One: The Cat Sith

A very interesting story happened to me in October 2024, and I still remember it vividly. I was reading about Halloween and the cat Sith. Now the cat Sith is the fairy cat of Samhain, starring in the old Celtic legends. According to the lore, Cat Sith is a black cat with a white spot right on his chest. At Samhain, he wanders, wanting food. Any house that offers a bowl of milk to Him is going to be blessed by him. The source I read explained just this and showed a pretty picture of a nice, big, black cat with a clear, white spot on the chest.

“Cat Sith must be a blessing,” I thought

Later, I read about the cat Sith in other sources, and they presented it as a malicious figure. In some stories, it is related to death, and in others, it steals souls. Well, in the beginning, I just read about the nice things – about the blessings of houses, and I was thinking Cat Sith is so cool. So, I immediately thought: “This cat Sith…am I going to see it this Samhain? I hope to see it. Maybe I should leave an offering of milk in front of my door.” That was it, I didn’t think about it anymore, I proceeded with other subjects.

The Sign from the Universe

On the next day, I went to the regular salsa classes. I was sitting on the stairs in front of the studio, waiting for it to open with other people from the group. Right in front of me on the grass, staring at me was a large black cat with a white spot on the chest – it was the first time I had seen such a thing. The cat Sith! – I thought and looked around for witches. It was Him! I felt like I was having an incredible date with destiny. I am still certain that the Universe had sent me a sign.

I told this story to many people to check how they understood it. Could it be just a coincidence, or was the Universe really trying to tell me something? I believe it was. I believe it testified that whatever my heart wishes for gently, without hurting anyone, will be manifested for me. So, once upon a time, I met a magical cat, and that meant something.

Sign Two: The Victory Card

At 11:11 every day, I usually pull a divination card. I use a deck of cards called the Green Witch Oracle. Each card has a beautifully painted picture of a magical herb, a flower, or a vegetable plant like the pumpkin. Each card also contains a word like Luck, Productivity, or Agreement. At 11:10, I held the deck in my hands, I felt it with my fingers, I felt its energy, and I directed my thoughts toward the question: “What special thing will happen for me today?” I repeated the question mentally several times. I felt I was in the right energy for divination, and I pulled a card, and what was my surprise when the card said “Victory.”

The Ocho Element

Now I am going to tell you another story. Of all the dances in couples I am learning, I think tango is my dance; it’s a dance designed for intelligent and soulful people. It consists mainly of walking and several basic elements that are used in various figures. Some years ago, I went to group tango lessons, and they were trying to teach me the Ocho, which is one of the more basic elements. Now, Ocho was impossible to me. The teachers were a couple, and the lady performed a grandiose Ocho to show me how, and said: “Now, do it like me.”

I was clueless and tried the Ocho, but I heard only: “No, no – you do not do it properly.” They took turns trying to teach me the Ocho through this method, but I grew even less talented. Finally, they had to say: “We are ashamed that you have been visiting our lessons for such a long time, and you can not even do the Ocho!”

I was heartbroken. The Ocho turned into my terror, even in other dances such as bachata, when we tried borrowing from the tango, I felt terrified that I was going to have to do the Ocho.

The Sign from the Universe

Nowadays, I am going to private lessons of tango, and my teacher is the sweetest, gentlest person on Earth. He has 25 years of dancing experience, and he explained the Ocho to me in perfect detail, and then we tried it, and my horror turned out to be so natural for the body. So the day I pulled the Victory card will forever remain in my personal history as the day I did my first Ocho! Ha! Wasn’t that a great conquest?

So the Universe is always trying to tell us something, to us who wish to listen. Pay attention to the miraculous world around you, it is full of secrets and revelations. Sometimes, the messages are arcane, like the Cat Sith, and other times, they are clear, such as the Victory card. Sometimes, you will not understand in the beginning, but it will make sense later. Just get creative in your guesses, and the truth will come to you.
