Easter: Great Attitude – Great Day

Today is one of the greatest days of the year – Easter Day – and we greet each other with the traditional in Eastern Orthodox Church “Christ is Risen!” The traditional response to this is “Truly, he is risen!”

Today we celebrate the Lord, who came to give his love and light to the world, to illuminate our way. He is the Way, the Truth and the Life, and he came to bring three great gifts for the human soul: Faith, Hope, and Love.

And Jesus said to them, ‘Through your want of faith; for verily I say to you, if ye may have faith as a grain of mustard, ye shall say to this mount, Remove hence to yonder place, and it shall remove, and nothing shall be impossible to you…

Faith is what makes our days really wonderful. It defines our internal disposition, and it weaves our destiny. The simple belief that it is going to be a wonderful day is a rare positivity found in a few people, but it works miracles for them. They are incredibly prone to success. Their light shines through and it attracts other people.

For what you need in order to be happy is a grain of faith in what is lovely and good. Benevolent people attract benevolence, happiness attracts happiness, and your day depends on your daily mood. You can’t help people if you are not in a good mood. But what to do, if you are afflicted, in order to be hearty? Encourage others! You teach others best what you most need to learn.

A good attitude is powerful. It changes circumstances, it changes people around you, it nurtures your soul and makes you happy – every single day, come rain or come shine.

“Where do I begin, to tell the story of how great a love can be, the sweet love story that is older than the sea, the simple truth about the Love, he gives to me? Where do I start?”- Shirley Bassey

Enamored people are the most faithful and hopeful creatures in the world. They always have a great attitude to a special person and that illuminates their way. To them, their Beloved is a deity, who fills their soul with so much love and light. To them, their Beloved is the eternal subject on their mind – which makes everything better and more pleasant.

Christ is risen. Heaven reminds us all of us are dearly loved and that even death can be defied, and what incredible creatures we are.
