The Angel From Christmas Colored By Merry People

Angelical

Lorna Angeli says Angels appear in our lives in all shapes and sizes, sometimes even as snowflakes. You instantly want to hold your breath and look inside, as if a great power is present. Different angels have different skills. Your guardian angel is the keeper of the gates of your body and your soul. Angels are here to help us but we have to ask them to manifest into our lives. They are spiritual beings with incredibly high and light vibration, who serve us according to God’s will.

There are 9 Choirs of Angels. They are Seraphim (the burning ones), Cherubim (the fullness of wisdom), Thrones (the steadfastness of the Love of God), Dominions, Virtues, Powers, Principalities, Archangels and angels (among the latter are our personal guardian angels.) The word angel is derived from the Latin “angelus” (messenger). Angels are messengers of the Lord, they are winged flyers in the skies, and they are related to the days of the week.

If you focus on your guardian angel, while you are coloring, you may receive messages and blessings from him. Even if you do not receive anything, you will still feel more balanced and connected. The angels will support you and help you become what you want to be in a joyful and playful way.

Angels are our mighty allies on the path of healing and wellness, and you can invoke them by asking them to heal your body, spirit, and soul! They will lovingly guide you to relaxation and peace, you will feel your power as a joyful, wealthy and healthy being.

They, angels bring us gifts from our Creator. Open your arms to receive!

The Cross

It is the world-famous symbol of Christian faith. It signifies how Christ died on the cross to save humanity. Early Christians preferred the symbol of fish instead – it was their secret sign. The Chi-Ro Cross (on the gown of the angel) is made up of the first two letters of the name “Christ” in Greek. This cross was adopted by a Roman Emperor named Constantine and it originated in antiquity as the symbol of Chronos, the Greek God of time.

Jesus is the sovereign of angels, they worship him, he is exalted above the angels, they serve him with divine love.

The Star

Stars are in general symbolic of wisdom and spiritual guidance, truly our heaven influences us humans from our birth. They are associated with magic, which is why wizards are often depicted in purple clothes and stars on them. The star is among the prettiest and enchanting symbols: it stands for inspiration, aspiration, dreams, wonder, creative brilliance and divine guidance.

“When you wish upon a Star,
Makes no difference who you are…
Anything your heart desires
Will come to you…”

-Jiminy Cricket, Walt Disney’s “Pinocchio”

While coloring, reach out to your special star and allow it to “steer your dreams” as Joseph Paneck put it. To touch a star, means we have realized our dreams.

The Dove

The dove is a universal symbol of peace and the soul. It signifies God’s forgiveness for humanity, it is associated with the divine spirit and it is symbolic of baptism. In ancient Greece it was sacred to Venus, the Goddess of Love and Beauty, therefore it represents romance. Semiramis, the legendary Assyrian Queen was raised by doves in her early childhood.

The Chalice

Frequently used when making predictions, the chalice symbolizes a magic practitioner’s psychic power, intuition, and emotions. It is often used for Christian ceremonies as well. The vessel which in Christian tradition was used by Christ at the Last Supper to serve the wine is called “The Holy Grail.”

A Guide For Coloring the Angel

Heavy Golden Wings

The Greek Goddess of rainbow Iris is often portrayed as a young woman with golden winds and a herald’s rod. Gold signifies the charisma of the Sun, golden was the hair of the Greek God Apolo since it is lustrous and bright as the Sun. Gold, the most perfect of all metals is a powerful symbol of nobility, illumination, and sacredness…perfection and the heart, in the East it is also a mark of enlightenment. Coloring in golden also helps to manifest the light within. Golden fuels the chakra of the Heart at the center of your chest – feel it expand your joy, self-worth and personal power. It helps you appreciate life completely.

Blue eyes and gown

Virgin Mary wears a blue robe over a red gown, symbolic of Heaven and her position as its Queen. Blue is a regal color, and it signifies a noble birth and class. As the color of the sky, it represents divine.  The Ancient Egyptian God Amun was often depicted as blue, just like the Hindu Gods Rama, Shiva, and Krishna. In Scandinavia being blue-eyed means you are naïve or gullible. Angel’s blue robes signify divine wisdom, purity, and humility. According to Dr. Edwin Babbitt, “the blue color is one of the great antiseptics in the world.” It is peaceful and soothing, it calms the nerves.

Pink feathers

Probably the ultimate angelic sign is finding feathers. People say they love leaving feathers as a sign and signal that they are near. Feathers signify the ability to freely move throughout life, as well as truth, speed, love, lightness, and flight. Pink feathers are a reminder of the unconditional love of your angels and the infinite inspiration, available when you realize you are love.

While you color, you can use some incense such as sandalwood – the perfect oil for meditation. Sandalwood is a sacred wood, with a lovely aromatic scent. It is used in aromatherapy and it is said to bring one closer to the Divine.
