Today, I got lucky to land on a blog about the tales of life and travel in Portugal, of a very kind woman I met in a writing forum. It’s a seven-year-old blog, and it deals with all things Portuguese: from Christmas cakes to bird-watching, to fairs, flowers, and festivals. It contains practical advice on moving to her country – it is full of resources for expats.
Portugal is so affable!
It’s inspiring to meet a person so fond of her country. She is very emotional in her blogging. She calls herself Piglet – and she seems to alternate laughter and tears most of the time, especially with Portugal, or writing on her mind.
She is obviously deeply interested in cooking, gardening, and photography, and she loves learning about other cultures. We share a passion for creative writing. She is open and very communicative and you are welcome to ask her questions about her country, or her writing, or whatever makes you tick at the moment – I am quite positive she will pay attention.
